BSNL has launched there 5G sim recently,Ministry of Communications announced that the state-owned telco would start it 5G operations by 15 August 2023. BSNL is in the process of installing 1.12lakh towers for 4G and 5G services across india, they has already installed 9000 4G towers Punjab,himachal Pradesh, UP and Haryana are the best states for BSNL coverage.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited was established on 15th september 2000 by government of india under the ownership of Department of communications which part of Ministry of
Communications, government of india. Headquarters of BSNL is in new delhi.
BSNL landline was launched in the early 1990s it was the only fixed-line telephone service for the whole country before the new telecom Policy was announced by the Department of Telecom in 1999. Only the Government-owned BSNL and MTNL were allowed to provide land-line phone servies through copper wire in the country.
